
Bears win second straight, downing Binghamton 7-4

Frederic Cassivi won his 20th game of the season as the BEARS defeated the Binghamton Senators at GIANT Center Saturday night.
Colin Forbes opened the scoring for HERSHEY at 13:52 of the first period with a power play goal from Lawrence Nycholat and Boyd Gordon. The game would stay 1-1 into the third period when Eric Fehr scored his team leading 21st goal of the year. Gordon would add an empty net goal at 18:44 before Binghamton's Jan Platil broke up Cassivi's shutout bid with a power play goal at 18:59 of period three. The Senators outshot the BEARS 30-25 in the game as HERSHEY won its second in a row and fourth in its last five games.
The BEARS host the Norfolk Admirals Sunday afternoon at GIANT Center at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the GIANT Center box office or by calling (717) 508-BEAR.
