Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs (17-28-0-2) face the Rochester Americans (22-21-1-1) tonight for the seventh time this season. The Bulldogs will be looking to end a three-game losing streak, while the Americans will be searching for their second victory in as many nights. The Americans sit in fifth position in the North Division with 46 points.
In the last meeting between these two teams on Sunday, January 15, Hamilton defeated Rochester by a score of 3-1 at Blue Cross Arena. Jean-Philippe Cote, Maxim Lapierre, and James Sanford scored for the 'Dogs, while David Cullen had the lone marker for the Amerks. Hamilton netminder Jeff Deslauriers made 34 saves to earn the victory, while Rochester goaltender Michael Leighton blocked 23 shots.

BULLDOGS NOTES
- C Marc-Antoine Pouliot has five points (3g, 2a) in six games against Rochester this season.
- RW Duncan Milroy scored his first goal in 16 games on Sunday, January 22, in Hamilton's 2-1 loss to the Toronto Marlies.
- C J.J. Hunter played in his first game of the season on Jan. 22. Hunter had been sidelined with a shoulder injury. It was his first game with the Bulldogs since the 2002-03 playoffs.
- G Yann Danis, who was named to the Canadian AHL All-Star team on Tuesday, January 24, is tied for eighth in the league in both goals-against average (2.63) and save percentage (0.913)
- D Mathieu Roy has eight points (1g, 7a) in his last seven games.
