The HERSHEY BEARS Hockey Club will play its final road game of the pre-Christmas schedule Friday night in Adirondack before returning home Saturday and Sunday to Giant Center. The Providence Bruins make its lone central PA appearance of the season on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. prior to the Charlotte Checkers returning to Chocolatetown Sunday at 5:00 p.m.

Winning streak ends at four: The BEARS dropped a 5-3 decision in Charlotte Sunday to the Checkers, snapping the team's season-high four-game winning streak. Nine of HERSHEY'S 16 wins this season have come on the road, including wins in Albany and Charlotte last week.
Beagle tops the shorty chart: Center Jay Beagle scored two more short-handed goals last week, giving him four on the season. The four goals scored while his team was a man down is tied for tops in the American Hockey League as the new week begins.

Practice schedule: HERSHEY will skate Tuesday and Wednesday at Giant Center at 10:00 a.m. and at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday prior to departing for Glens Falls, NY. Thursday's practice will be the final media availability until after the Christmas holiday. Coaches and players will be available approximately 11:15 on Tuesday and Wednesday, and approximately 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
Busy after the holidays: The BEARS will have time off from December 20-25 for the holidays, but will play five games in eight nights starting December 26 at home against Norfolk. Four of the five games will be at home, with the lone road game in Pittsburgh December 30 against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
