
Blues Recall Cracknell, Porter and Scatchard

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has recalled forwards Adam Cracknell (krak-NEHL), Chris Porter and Dave Scatchard from the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Cracknell, 25, has made 27 appearances in Peoria this season tallying 13 points on four goals and nine assists including 41 penalty minutes. Last season, the 6'2, 216-pound forward dressed in 76 games for the Rivermen totaling 38 points on 17 goals and 21 assists. Cracknell has spent parts of five seasons in the AHL with Omaha, Quad City and Peoria accumulating 33 goals and 48 assists for 81 points including 119 penalty minutes.
The Prince Albert, Saskatchewan native was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in the ninth round, 279th overall, of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He was signed as a free agent by St. Louis on July 23, 2009. Cracknell will wear jersey number 79.
Porter, 26, has made nine appearances for the Blues this season serving seven penalty minutes. While with Peoria, the 6'1, 200-pound forward has played in 18 games recording four goals and six assists for ten points to go along with 44 penalty minutes. In his last four seasons with the Rivermen, Porter has amassed 36 goals and 65 assists for 101 points to accompany 241 penalty minutes.
The Toronto, Ontario native was originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the ninth round, 282nd overall, of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He was signed as a free agent by St. Louis on August 21, 2007. Porter will wear jersey number 32.
Scatchard, 34, has made five appearances for the Blues this season serving four penalty minutes. With Peoria this year, the 6'3, 220-pound forward has played in 23 games registering 11 points on three goals and eight assists to accompany 35 penalty minutes. For his career, Scatchard has played 656 games in over ten seasons in the NHL including stints with Vancouver, New York Islanders, Boston, Phoenix, Nashville and St. Louis amassing 268 points (128 goals, 140 assists) and 1,038 penalty minutes.
The Hinton, Alberta native was originally drafted by Vancouver in the second round, 42nd overall, of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. He was signed by St. Louis as a free agent on August 4, 2010. Scatchard will wear number 38.
