Blackhawks Recall Potulny from Rockford

Chicago, Ill.-The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled forward Ryan Potulny from the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.

Potulny, 26, has posted one shot, one hit and one takeaway in two tilts with Chicago this season. He also shares the Rockford team lead with seven goals and a +4 plus/minus rating, and ranks second with 18 points (7G, 11A) in 25 AHL tilts with the IceHogs this year, his first in the Blackhawks organization.

The Grand Forks, North Dakota, native established career-bests with 15 goals, 17 assists and 32 points in a career-high 64 regular-season tilts with the Edmonton Oilers during the 2009-10 campaign. Signed as a free agent by Chicago on Sept. 9, 2010, Potulny has posted 22 goals and 27 assists in 118 career NHL contests with Philadelphia (2005-08), Edmonton (2008-10) and the Blackhawks.

Next Home Game: Wednesday, Dec. 15 vs. Chicago Wolves. Game time is slated for 6:35 p.m. The Wolves return to the Rockford MetroCentre for the second time this season to open up a two-game set with the IceHogs in ‚¬Ë†Rockford.
