Have a Blue Christmas with the Penguins

Are you in the holiday spirit yet? You will be after this week, as the Penguins will break out their special BLUE CHRISTMAS jerseys on Wednesday and Friday, when the Abbotsford Heat comes to town.

The Pens will be wearing these special holiday-themed sweaters on both nights, and will be auctioning them off during Friday night's contest - the last home game before Christmas.

Additionally, the first 5,000 fans through the Mohegan Sun Arena doors on Friday will receive a free Penguins holiday skull cap, just in time for the snow on the way.

Friday is also the second of our two Tobyhanna Army Depot Teddy Bear Toss nights. All fans are encouraged to bring a new, stuffed toy to the game and throw it onto the ice during the first intermission. All toys collected will be distributed to needy children throughout the area through Tobyhanna's Operation Santa Claus.

If that's not enough, Friday is also another Dollar Dogs and Drafts night. Select beers will be on sale for a dollar from 6-7:30pm, and dollar dogs will be served up while supplies last.
