Baysox Prepare for Magic

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today a special pregame magic performance by The Great Zucchini Saturday, July 10, before the Baysox take on the Trenton Thunder at 6:35 p.m. Stadium gates open for the performance at 4:35 p.m. and the show is scheduled to start at 4:45 p.m.

The Great Zucchini is one of the most popular kids' entertainers in the region, and is the second of three acts in the Baysox Kids Concert Series. Tickets are $10 a person and include a general admission seat ticket for the game. After the game, the Baysox light up the skies around Prince George's Stadium with a fireworks extravaganza.

Baysox Director of Ticket Operations Charlene Fewer looks forward to bringing her two young nieces to the show. "My nieces had a blast at the first show in the Baysox Kids Concert Series," Fewer said. "They love coming to Baysox games. Between the Milkshake concert, The Great Zucchini performance and Louie's Kids Park, the Baysox keep them running around all summer long."

The Great Zucchini has been entertaining young children as a magician and preschool teacher for more than 12 years. He performs his hands-on, interactive magic shows to more than 250 groups a year.
