CURVE, Pa. - Josh Harrison's second RBI-double of the game put the Curve in the lead as a part of a five-run seventh inning that helped the Curve in its come-from-behind, 7-4, victory over the Portland Sea Dogs on Thursday afternoon at BCB. It's the first sweep of the Sea Dogs for Altoona since 2007 when they swept them in Portland in early August.

Trailing, 4-2, entering the bottom of the seventh, Altoona sent nine men to the plate and scored five runs in the inning to put itself in the lead. Alex Presley, who was 3-for-4 in the game overall, singled to start the inning and came around to score on a Miles Durham triple to right center. After Kris Watts drew a walk, Shelby Ford, who homered earlier in the contest, singled in Durham from third to tie the game at four.

Chase d'Arnaud bunted his way on to load up the bases for Gorkys Hernandez with no one out but Hernandez struck out for the first out of the inning. Harrison followed with his double to bring in two runs and give the Curve a, 6-4, lead. His double also chased reliever Mitch Herold (1-2), who allowed all five runs in 1.1 innings of work.

Matt Hague grounded out to first off the new pitcher Ryne Miller to drive in d'Arnaud from third for Altoona's seventh and final run.

It was a shaky start to the game for E.L. wins leader Jared Hughes (10-3) as he allowed three runs in the first inning on six consecutive singles to start the game. After the rough first, Hughes found a groove and only permitted one more run in his last six innings of work. All told, Hughes allowed four runs on eight hits in seven innings with five strikeouts.

Portland had six hits in its first six batters but mustered just three hits the rest of the game. Reliever Tony Watson earned his second save of the season by pitching the final two innings. He struck out five of the seven batters he faced in the game.

Harrison finished the game 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and three RBI to extended his season-best hitting streak to 10 games. Ford was 2-for-4 with the home run and two RBI.

Altoona (48-24), winners of six straight and owners of the best record in Minor League Baseball, welcomes the Bowie Baysox to Blair County Ballpark beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday. Curve southpaw Justin Wilson (5-4, 2.99) will duel against Baysox lefty Zach Britton (6-3, 2.62) in the first game of the series.

A special postgame fireworks show will follow Friday night's game with Bowie. It's also Tyrone Community Night at the ballpark and kids can run the bases after the game. Radio coverage begins on flagship ESPN Radio 1430, WVAM and the Curve Radio Network at 6:30 p.m. For tickets to Friday night's game and more information, visit www.AltoonaCurve.com, call 877.99.CURVE or visit the Blair County Ballpark Box Office during normal business hours.
