Baysox Prepare Brats and Brews

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today a special Brats and Brews Beer Dinner Thursday, August 12, as the Baysox take on the Portland Sea Dogs at 7:05 p.m. The event includes seating in the climate controlled Diamond View Restaurant with multiple TVs, a two-hour buffet and a three-hour all-you-can-drink open bar featuring Spaten and Franziskaner beers.
Following an Oktoberfest theme, the buffet includes brats in beer, baked salmon curran with tomatoes, basil, garlic and capers, grilled pork loin with braised cabbage and bacon, shrimp steamed in Spaten Lager beer, mixed greens, summer vegetables, and brownies and ice cream. The buffet is served from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The open bar features several different beers, including: Spaten Oktoberfest, Spaten Lager, Spaten Optimator, Spaten Munich Dunkel, Franziskaner Dunkel Weiss and Franziskaner Hefe Weiss. The beers are served from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
