Baysox Host Seafood Beach Party Beer Dinner

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today the Seafood Beach Party Beer Dinner at Prince George's Stadium Thursday Sept. 1, as the Baysox take on the Altoona Curve at 7:05 p.m. The event takes place in the Diamond View Restaurant at Prince George's Stadium and features a two-hour buffet and three-hour open bar.

Baysox Community Programs Manager Dana DeFilippo organized the dinner. "This is the last beer dinner of the season," DeFilippo said. "As the Baysox fish for a championship ring, fans can enjoy some of the finest flavors of the Bay with a great view of the action on the field. It is the perfect way to enjoy one of the final regular season games of another exciting season of Baysox baseball."

The buffet starts at 6 p.m. and features a Caesar salad station, Maryland crab soup, fried rockfish, crab cakes, bow-tie pasta aioli with sun-dried tomatoes and roasted chicken, steamed mussels in wine garlic and parsley, fresh corn-on-the-cob and fresh berries and cream. The open bar also begins serving at 6 p.m. and includes Blue Moon and Coors Light on tap and assorted bottled and draft beers. Soft drinks and water are also available.
