New Britain Rock Cats News Release

New Britain, CT - For the unprecedented tenth time this season, the Rock Cats have had a home game Rained Out at New Britain Stadium. The opposition for tonight's scheduled 7:05 PM contest was the Altoona Curve, the Eastern League affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Tonight's postponed game will be made up as part of a late afternoon Doubleheader to be played tomorrow (8/10) with Game 1 starting at 4:35 PM. Game 2 - which like the opener will be 7-innings in duration - will commence approximately 25 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1. Tomorrow's double-barreled action will be a Single-Admission affair, which means that fans may enjoy two games for the price of one.

Fans holding tickets for tonight's Rain Out may exchange them for any other home game during the Rock Cats 2011 Regular Season. Patrons with related questions are invited to call the Rock Cats Ticket Office for information.
