----- Tonight, the SeaWolves begin a six-game road trip as they look to snap a two-game losing streak against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays) in the opener of a three-game series at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. The SeaWolves have dropped two straight, including a 6-1 loss against Harrisburg on Sunday afternoon at Jerry Uht Park...This is the second and final series between Erie and New Hampshire. The Fisher Cats took two of three from the SeaWolves in June. Dating back to 2010, the SeaWolves have dropped six of their last nine to the Fisher Cats...Lefty Casey Crosby makes his 20th start of the season and his first against the Fisher Cats. Crosby took a no-decision in his last start and is looking for his first win since July 18 at Trenton. Crosby took a no-decision in his last start against New Britain on August 3. In the game, the lefty allowed two runs on five hits with three walk and four strikeouts in seven innings of work. Erie won the game in the ninth inning 3-2 and it was Crosby's longest outing since April 30...RHP Joel Carreno takes the mound for the Fisher Cats making his 23rd appearance, 22nd start and second start against the SeaWolves. The 'Wolves beat Carreno on June 19 at Jerry Uht Park. That day, he allowed two runs on four hits with three walks and seven strikeouts in seven innings of work. Carreno has dropped three of his last six starts and has not won since July 1. He took a no-decision in his last start against Richmond on August 3. In the game, he allowed three runs on five hits with three walks and four strikeouts in seven innings of work. Carreno is third in the league with 140 strikeouts.

New Hampshire is the league's top defensive club committing a league-low 73 errors. - The SeaWolves are 41-46 in night games and 14-14 in day games. - Erie's pitching staff is ninth in the league with a 4.43 team ERA. The SeaWolves have given up 550 runs which is fourth-most allowed in the league. Erie has issued 396 walks which is third most in the league. - The SeaWolves are second in the league with 542 runs scored. - Erie's offense is tied for second in the league with a .270 team batting average. New Hampshire is tied for fifth in the league with a .259 team average. - The SeaWolves are 27-17 against the Eastern Division. - The 'Wolves are hitting .259 with RISP, .212 with two outs and RISP and .276 with runners on base. - As a team, the SeaWolves are 33-for-99 with the bases loaded. - Jamie Johnson leads the team and the league with 70 walks and 70 runs scored. - Johnson also leads the SeaWolves with 118 hits. - Justin Henry is second in the league with a .410 on-base percentage. Henry is seventh in the league with a .307 average. - The SeaWolves will play three games in New Hampshire and travel to Portland this weekend for a three-game series with the Sea Dogs. This is Erie's lone trip to the Northeast in 2011.
