
Rock Cats Set New Single Game Attendance Record at New Britain Stadium 8,672

New Britain, CT- The New Britain Rock Cats Baseball Club, the Double-A Eastern League Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, has announced that it set a new single game attendance record on Friday night as 8,672 fans watched the Rock Cats play the Portland Sea Dogs at New Britain Stadium. It was the second 8,000 plus crowd to watch the Rock Cats at home this season. The new record breaks the old mark of 8,633 set at the 2013 Eastern League All-Star Game.
The Rock Cats will play their final evening game ever Saturday night (7:05 PM) and their final home game at New Britain Stadium on Sunday afternoon (1:35 PM). Justin Morneau is scheduled to be with the Rock Cats on Saturday and Sunday.
