NEWS AND NOTES
FREAKY FRIDAY : The Sea Dogs and New Britain Rock Cats (Rockies affiliate) play game two of their four-game series tonight at New Britain Stadium. Tonight marks the final road Friday game of the year for the 'Dogs - the two teams meet again next Friday night at Hadlock Field.
ABOUT LAST NIGHT : Harrison Musgrave threw six hitless innings and led the way for the Rock Cats, who won 6-2. Musgrave walked Manuel Margot to lead off the game, picked him off of first, then retired the remaining 17 batters he faced in his outing. New Britain scored three runs in the first inning off of Mike McCarthy to provide all the offense they would need.
