Baysox Host Jewish Heritage Night

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox and Temple Solel announce today Jewish Heritage Night at Prince George's Stadium Monday, Aug 29, as the Baysox take on the Altoona Curve at 7:05 p.m. The event features a special ticket offer and a food collection for the Bowie Interfaith Food Pantry.

The Baysox have a pair of special ticket offers for the event, and both options include $5 in Baysox Bucks that can be spent anywhere in the stadium. For $14, fans receive a Lower Reserved seat ticket with the Baysox Bucks, and for $11 fans receive an Upper Reserved seat ticket behind home plate with the Baysox Bucks. The tickets are only available online through www.baysox.com with the special offer code HERITAGE in all capital letters.

As part of the event the Baysox will collect food for the Bowie Interfaith Food Pantry. Fans are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item to be donated to the Pantry, canned vegetables and canned soups of all kinds are especially needed.

Fans attending Jewish Heritage Night who keep kosher are invited to bring kosher food into the stadium for the game. To do so, fans must stop by the Baysox front office before entering the stadium and ask for Baysox General Manager Brian Shallcross.
