Kruml to the D.L., Baker Activated

Trenton Thunder News Release
(Trenton, NJ) - The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, announce that OF Ray Kruml has been placed on the Disabled List. In a corresponding move, C Ryan Baker has been activated from the Disabled List. The moves leave the Thunder 24-man active roster at its maximum capacity.
Kruml, the Thunder team-leader with a .290 batting average, 122 hits and 34 stolen bases, has been sidelined since Tuesday night when he fouled a ball off of his foot in the seventh inning. The speedy Thunder outfielder ranks second in hits and fourth in doubles in the Eastern League.
The Thunder will begin a brief three-game series with the Altoona Curve at Blair County Ballpark on Friday night at 7:00 PM. The Thunder will send LHP Steve Garrison (3-7, 6.43) to the mound, while the Curve will counter with RHP Kyle McPherson (5-3, 2.88).
