Barons Fall to Admirals, 5-2

Linus Omark and Brad Hunt scored goals but the Oklahoma City Barons were out-shot 42-28 by the Milwaukee Admirals in a 5-2 loss Friday evening at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The Admirals (11-5-4-1) scored four straight goals before the Barons (9-12-0-3) got on the board with Omark's goal at the 7:33 mark of the third period.

Hunt added his second of the season on the power play at 10:14 of the third, but the Admirals added a fifth late in the game to secure the 5-2 win. Roman Horak led the Barons with four shots on goal.

Laurent Brossoit started the game and was lifted after allowing the four goals on 23 shots. Ty Rimmer made his first appearance as a Baron, allowing the one goal on 19 shots.

Milwaukee had five different players score and out-shot Oklahoma City 21-4 in the second period.

The Barons face Chicago in a two-game set beginning Saturday night at 7 p.m. CT. Oklahoma City closes out the weekend with a 3 p.m. contest on Sunday against the Wolves.
