Binghamton Senators News Release

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that for the third consecutive year they have partnered with Dickin Memorial Animal Hospital in an effort to raise funds helping the local pet population.

"Pucks 4 Paws" will formally debut tonight when the B-Sens host the Hershey Bears in a 7:05 p.m. contest with the introduction of the 2014 Pucks 4 Paws calendar. The 16-month calendar, which features photos of B-Sens players, coaches and staff members with either their own pets or adoptable pets from the Broome County Humane Society, will be available for $20 while supplies last.

Also, for the second year in a row Dickin Memorial Animal Hospital will be raffling off a one-of-a-kind commemorative piece of jewelry exclusively designed by CD Daniel & Co. Fine Jewelry for the event. The white gold pendant will feature an etched hand print and paw print encircled in diamonds on one side with the reverse side yielding an etched Binghamton Senators logo surrounded by rubies and black diamonds. The pendant, which is valued at $1,500 will be on display during all upcoming B-Sens home games at the Pucks 4 Paws table located on the front concourse of the arena. The drawing is set to take place on Saturday, March 15. Entrants need not be present to win. Raffle tickets are available for $10 apiece.

Pucks 4 Paws supporters can also purchase a 2014 Pucks 4 Paws t-shirt (available in sizes small to extra large) for $20. This year they will also be raffling off special baskets loaded with toys and treats for the pet in your life. A Pucks 4 Paws t-shirt and a pair of B-Sens ticket vouchers are included in each basket. Raffle tickets for the baskets are $1 for three or an arms length for $5.

In addition to being available at all B-Sens home games, all items above will be available for purchase at the Dickin Memorial Animal Hospital located at 716 Harry L Drive in Johnson City. All funds raised through this year's initiative will benefit the Animal Care Council, Broome County Humane Society, Front Street Dog Shelter, Project P.A.W. and Stray Haven/ASPCA in Waverly.

The Binghamton Senators and Dickin Memorial Animal Hospital have together raised over $10,000 through the past two seasons, a number we hope to surpass this year.
