
Barker, Bickell, Nordqvist and Richmond Return to Admirals

CHICAGO, Illinois - Blackhawks General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that Chicago has returned defensemen Cam Barker and Danny Richmond and forwards Bryan Bickell and Jonas Nordqvist to the Admirals. All four have already joined the team in Norfolk.
Barker, 21, was recalled to the Blackhawks on January 14 and finished the season in Chicago. The 6'3", 213-lb. defenseman from Winnipeg, Manitoba, registered one goal and eight points in 35 games for Chicago. He scored his first NHL goal on January 14 versus the Minnesota Wild. Prior to joining the Blackhawks, Barker notched five goals and 13 points in 31 games with the Admirals.
Richmond, 22, played 54 games for Norfolk this season scoring ten goals and adding 24 assists with 142 penalty minutes. The 6'0", 194-lb. defenseman from Chicago, Illinois, was recalled to his hometown team for the fourth time on March 8 and finished the season with the Blackhawks. In 22 games with the Blackhawks, he notched two assists and had 48 penalty minutes. He was named the Admirals' American Specialty/AHL Man of the Year last week for his contributions to the Hampton Roads community.
Bickell and Nordqvist both made their NHL debuts last week after being called up on April 5. Bickell, 21, scored two goals for Chicago in three games with no penalty minutes. He scored his first NHL goal on April 5 versus the Detroit Red Wings. The 6'4", 223-lb. left wing from Bowmanville, Ontario, appeared in 45 games for the Admirals this season registering eight goals and 15 assists with 47 penalty minutes.
Nordqvist, 24, assisted on Bickell's first NHL goal for his first NHL point. He ended up with two assists in three games with the Blackhawks. The 6'3", 207-lb. center from Leksand, Sweden, has 14 goals and 24 assists with 16 penalty minutes in 62 games with Norfolk this season.
