ROSTER UPDATE:
F Matt Pope was activated from the 3-day IR today. Also today, D Tom Morrow was placed on the 3-day IR and will be eligible to be activated on Tuesday, Oct. 21, while F Dale Reinhardt was placed on the 7-day IR and will be eligible to be activated on Saturday, Oct. 25. LW Mark Derlago and G Yutaka Fukufuji start the season as inactive.
SERIES HISTORY:
The Condors host the Ontario Reign, who are in their inaugural season, and the two teams open the 2008-09 campaign with their first-ever regular season match-up. They faced off during the preseason for a game in Ontario, which the Reign won, 5-4, in a shootout. The Condors and Reign will meet eight more times after tonight, with four more games on the Mercy & Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena and four at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario.
PROMOTIONAL NOTES:
Come join the Anaheim Ducks promo team, Power Players, and mascot Wild Wing for a party on the plaza before the game, with the Ducks Bounce House and Inflatable Slapshot, equipped with a radar gun! Plus, everyone in attendance will get a Condors magnet schedule, sponsored by ESPN Radio 1230 and Mercy & Memorial Hospitals. The party starts at 5 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.

Individual game tickets are on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 322- 2525, online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, or at any Ticketmaster location. Season tickets, mini-plans and group outings are available at the Condors office located at 1001 Truxtun Avenue or by calling 324-PUCK (7825).
