The Bombers will kick off their season at 5:30pm with a pre-game party outside of Gate 3, with a special performance by the RFP Band. Ovations barbeque and beverages will be on sale on the outdoor patio. Fans will be able to tour the "Bombers Bus" provided by Dream Catcher Coaches, the official "coach" of the Bombers.
Also on site will be the Dayton Children's POWER Mobile, which is a retired ambulance filled with fun, educational games for kids. All fans in attendance will receive a free magnet schedule, courtesy of Horizon Payroll Services and Travelplex.
The Bombers Charitable Foundation and Dayton Children's Hospital have also partnered in a fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network, in which the team will be wearing special autographed Dayton Children's themed warm-up jerseys that will be available for bidding at a silent auction on the concourse throughout the game.
The servicemen and women of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, as well as Family members of deployed, will be honored for Military Appreciation Night, presented by Lockheed Martin, Kettering Health Networks, Wright-Patt Credit Union, Boeing Corp., Northrop Grumman, Dayton Development Coalition, DP&L and Suburban Extended Stay. A special puck drop with base leadership and a WPAFB flight school intermission broomball game will highlight the night's festivities.
Immediately following the game there will be a skate with the team, where all fans are welcome to join the Bombers players on the ice for pictures and autographs. Skates are not required.
