Dayton Dragons News Release
Dayton, OH - RHP Ramon Ramirez is back on Dayton's active roster and will get the starting nod in the second half "opener" for the Dragons as the club opens a four game series at Fort Wayne against the Wizards. After his last start of the first half against the Southwest Michigan Devil Rays, Ramirez was transferred to the Billings Mustangs (Pioneer League) roster. A roster spot for Ramirez became available when the Cincinnati Reds placed Dragons catcher Chad Ziemendorf on the disabled list retroactive to June 21, 2005 with a sprained neck. The Dragons active roster currently sits at 25 players.
