Hadlock Field - Portland, ME - 1:00 PM

LAST GAME: The B-Mets beat Portland, 6-1, Saturday night at Hadlock Field. Joe Benson homered in his first career B-Met at-bat, driving in the first three runs. Dustin Lawley followed with his sixth home run of the season, as the

B-Mets went back-to-back for the first time this season. Robert Gsellman allowed a run in seven innings, earning his third win with Binghamton. Gavin Cecchini went 0-for-2 with three walks, having his 11-game hitting streak come to an end.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Seth Lugo is making his 15th start and third against Portland. Lugo is coming off a win, tossing six shutout innings against New Britain. He allowed four baserunners and struck out four. It was Lugo's first win since May 5th. Lugo has a 2.08 ERA in two July starts, allowing an opposing batting average of .188.

PORTLAND STARTER: RHP Luis Diaz is making his 17th start and third against the B-Mets this season. Diaz faced the B-Mets at NYSEG Stadium in his last outing, allowing two runs in six innings to earn his first win in over a year. Diaz has allowed three runs or less in his last four starts. His first outing against Binghamton was cut short after two innings, due to rain. The B-Mets are hitting .324 against Diaz in eight innings this season.

W'S: Luis Diaz is coming off his first win in 25 starts. His previous win came last July 5th against New Britain. Diaz has not won back-to-back starts since 6/18-6/23, 2014, his first two starts with Portland. That was 28 starts ago. Seth Lugo is coming off his first win in 10 starts, a career-long drought. Lugo has not won back-to-back outings since 8/6-8/12, 2014. He has not won consecutive starts since August of 2013 with Savannah.

HADLOCK LOCKDOWN: Binghamton has won 10 consecutive games at Hadlock Field, dating back to last postseason. The B-Mets have outscored Portland 74-27 in the 10 games, holding the Sea Dogs to one run in four of the last five games at Hadlock Field. Portland won six of 10 at NYSEG Stadium, having their last two series wins come there. The only time Binghamton has gone undefeated in a road stadium for a season was 2010, when they were 6-0 in Akron. It's the first time Binghamton has won eight games at Hadlock Field in a season. The B-Mets were 94-101 all-time at Hadlock Field before the current winning streak.

VS. PORTLAND: A win Sunday would be Binghamton's 13th against Portland this season, the most against the Sea Dogs in a season. Portland also won 13 in 2013 (13-7) and 2012 (13-6).

NEW ERA: The B-Mets have a 2.13 ERA in their first 11 games of July, going 6-5. It's the second best team ERA in the EL for the month, only behind Richmond (2.02).

STRONG LIKE A BULL(PEN): The B-Mets bullpen has not allowed a run in six games, tossing 14 scoreless innings. The 'pen has allowed eight baserunners, while striking out 10. A Binghamton reliever has

allowed a run in just one of the B-Mets last 10 games.

B-MET STRUGGLES: Brock Peterson is batting .128 with 16 strikeouts in his last 12 games. He has struck out in 11 of them. Peterson is 1-for-his last 26. LJ Mazzilli is batting .156 in his last eight games. He is hitless in his last 11 at-bats.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME: Binghamton is batting .295 at Hadlock Field this season. They are hitting .259 at home and .245 at all other EL stadiums.

STRONG FINISH: B-Mets have won their final series before the All-Star break in three of the past four years.

NEXT GAME PREVIEW: The B-Mets wrap up their series with the Sea Dogs Monday afternoon at 12:00 PM. RHP Gabriel Ynoa starts against RHP Mike Augliera.
