Avalanche Reassigns Nikita Zadorov to Rampage

DENVER (Nov. 7, 2015) - The Colorado Avalanche announced today that defenseman Nikita Zadorov (pronounced Za-DOHR-aw) has been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage.

Zadorov, 20, has skated in 11 games with Colorado this season, recording two assists. A first-round pick (#16 overall) by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, Zadorov was acquired by the Avalanche in a June 26 trade that also brought Mikhail Grigorenko and J.T. Compher to Colorado in exchange for Ryan O'Reilly and Jamie McGinn from the Sabres.

The Rampage travel up I-35 for a tilt with the Texas Stars tonight at 7 p.m. San Antonio wraps up the 3-in-3 weekend against the Chicago Wolves on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
