Avalanche Acquires Taylor Beck from Islanders

DENVER - The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that the team has acquired forward Taylor Beck from the New York Islanders in exchange for Marc-Andre Cliché.

Beck has recorded 16 goals and 17 assists in 46 games for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers this season and has played in two games with the Islanders. A third-round draft pick (70th overall) of the Nashville Predators in the 2009 NHL Draft, Beck spent the last five seasons with the Nashville organization, recording eight goals and eight assists in 62 contests with the Predators during the 2014-15 campaign.

San Antonio returns home from the Rodeo Road Trip on Friday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m. against the Manitoba Moose, which will be Military Appreciation Night, presented by On Time Elmer.
