CONDORSTOWN - The Bakersfield Condors will hold their 16th annual Tip A Condor charity event tonight from 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Petroleum Club of Bakersfield to benefit the Kern County Shrine Club. Tickets are $35 (includes dinner) and can be purchased by calling 324-PUCK (7825), in the Condors front office, or at the door tonight. The event alone has raised nearly $200,000 for local charity.
TIP A CONDOR (TONIGHT, 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.)
Condors players will serve as waiters to collect tips by bringing guests dinner, drinks, and more!
Tickets are $35 and include your choice of three dinner options: Oven Roasted Salmon, Grilled Chicken Breast, or Flat Iron Steak; all dinner options come with sides, a salad, and dessert
Each Condors player will have a custom tote bag that will be raffled off
Auction items include AHL customized California clock, Condors cornhole set, hockey stick bar stools, custom Condors artwork, AHL memorabilia from various teams throughout the league, and gift packages to local restaurants
Proceeds benefit the Kern County Shrine Club
Bright House Networks is buying your tickets - March 8
After a pair of games in San Jose next weekend, the Condors return home for Bright House Networks Family Night, Tuesday, Mar. 8 against San Diego. Get up to four complimentary tickets to the game by presenting your Bright House cable bill at the box office. Also, enjoy half-priced beer through the end of the 1st intermission, courtesy of Bud Light, and scarf down $1.50 hot dogs all night long. Contact the Condors for more information at 324-PUCK (7825).
