Predators Acquire Defenseman Corey Potter from Arizona

Milwaukee, WI - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has acquired defenseman Corey Potter from the Arizona Coyotes for future considerations. He will report to the Admirals.

Potter has 17 points (5g-12a) in 52 games for Springfield (AHL) this season, and 167 points (33g-134a) in 404 career AHL contests with five teams since the 2006-07 season. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound native of Lansing, Michigan also has 129 NHL games to his credit with the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh, Edmonton, Boston and Calgary, posting 32 points (8g-24a).

Potter will join the Admirals in Cleveland as they begin a two-game set against the Lake Erie Monsters beginning Tuesday at 6 pm CT. Milwaukee returns home to the BMOHBC this Saturday night when they play host to the Chicago Wolves in Amtrak Rivalry action.
