
Austin Spurs Earn 114-103 Road Win against Windy City Bulls

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Illinois - The Austin Spurs (8-6), presented by SWBC, remain undefeated on the road with a 114-103 win against the Windy City Bulls (6-7) Saturday night.
San Antonio Spurs assignee Luka Samanic finished with a game-high 26 points and 10 rebounds in 33 minutes. Quinndary Weatherspoon also notched a double-double, posting 13 points and 10 assists, along with 6 rebounds in 29 minutes.
Spurs assignee Keldon Johnson recorded 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in 31 minutes. Drew Eubanks contributed 18 points, 4 rebounds and 3 blocks in 27 minutes.
Samanic and Weatherspoon led the way in the first half for Austin, as Samanic dropped in 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds, while Weatherspoon posted 9 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. The Spurs trailed 61-56 at the half.
Heading into the fourth with an 89-83 lead, Austin had a 52-34 advantage in points in the paint and was outrebounding Windy City 38-28.
Multiple three-pointers by Samanic early in the final quarter helped stretch the Spurs' lead to 12. Austin outscored Windy City 58-42 in the second half to earn the 11-point victory.
For the Bulls, Simisola Shittu posted a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Max Strus tallied 23 points and 6 rebounds. ¬â¹
