Indiana Mad Ants News Release

Fort Wayne, Ind. - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants defeated the Erie BayHawks, 113-93, at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on Saturday night in the final game of a back-to-back series between the two teams.

Similar to last night's matchup, Fort Wayne (5-10) jumped out to a dominant lead again on the way to extending the four-game home winning streak.

The Mad Ants led Erie, 21-6, with 4:19 left in the first quarter and would go on to never trail in the two-game set at the Coliseum this weekend.

Goga Bitadze and Alize Johnson were assigned by the Pacers earlier this morning, and it was Bitadze who shined throughout the game ending his Fort Wayne debut to lead the team with 26 points as well as 14 rebounds.

The 6-foot-11 rookie knocked down 10 of 18 shots, including a 4-for-6 clip from beyond the arc.

Johnson tallied his second double-double in two games this season with Fort Wayne, highlighted by 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Pacers two-way player Brian Bowen II and Walt Lemon, Jr. joined in with double-double performances of their own.

After missing the last three games with a wrist injury, Bowen capped his night with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Lemon dished out 10 assists to go along with 16 points.

The BayHawks (4-10) tried to keep up behind 17 points and 10 rebounds from Vitto Brown.

Taren Sullivan added 16 points and seven rebounds off the bench in more than 33 minutes of playing time. It was his seventh game this season scoring in double figures.

The Mad Ants will host Wisconsin on Monday night for "Money Monday", presented by 3Rivers Federal Credit Union. Tip is set for 7 p.m.

Erie will head home looking to regroup against Raptors 905 on Tuesday night.
