Calgary Roughnecks News Release

Calgary, AB- Tracey Kelusky, captain of the Calgary Roughnecks, was today named as an assistant captain for the West Division in the National Lacrosse League's All-Star game in Portland March 10.

The West will be led by Gavin Prout of the Colorado Mammoth, with Peter Lough of the Arizona Sting joining Kelusky in wearing an 'A'.

Ironically, none of the three were named to the West's starting line-up.

John Tavares of the Buffalo Bandits will skipper the East Division, with Cam Woods of the Chicago Shamrox and Shawn Williams of the Rochester Knighthawks acting as his assistants.

The Roughnecks are sending three players to the NLL's annual showcase - Kelusky, Taylor Wray and Lewis Ratcliff.

All three have been selected to the All-Star game before, and two of them, Kelusky (2005) and Ratcliff (2006), have gone home with the Most Valuable Player award.

Wray was the only Roughneck selected to be a starter in this year's game.
