NLL Announces February Player Awards

Colorado Mammoth goaltender Gee Nash was named Overall Player of the Month and Mammoth transition player Nenad Gajic earned Rookie of the Month honors for the month of February, the National Lacrosse League announced today. The two Mammoth players helped lead the team to a perfect 4-0 record in February, improving the club's overall record to 9-1.

Gee Nash played all four game for the Colorado Mammoth in February for a total of 229:16 minutes. Nash recorded 152 saves and allowed only 33 goals for an 8.64 goals-against average and an 82.1% saves percentage during the month. The veteran goaltender also tallied two assists and collected 11 loose balls, leading the Mammoth to a perfect 4-0 mark during the month.

Colorado Mammoth Rookie transition player Nenad Gajic earned Rookie of the Month honors for February. Playing all four games for the Mammoth during the month, Gajic scored four goals and added eight assists for 12 points. He scored one short handed goal, one game winning goal and collected 29 loose balls while helping the Mammoth to a perfect 4-0 record in February.

The Monthly Player Awards are determined by a vote of the General Managers and Head Coaches of the league's thirteen member clubs.
