McCready Named Transition Player of the Week

BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 1, 2007) --The National Lacrosse League announced Wednesday that Buffalo's Pat McCready was named Transition Player of the Week for Week Nine of the NLL season.

McCready scored a goal and added three assists in Buffalo's 13-12 home win over Philadelphia on Saturday. He also picked up seven loose balls in the contest. For the season, McCready has 19 points on five goals and 14 assists, and also leads the Bandits with 93 loose balls. Last week, he was selected to play in the 2007 NLL All-Star Game.

The Weekly Player Awards are determined by a vote of the General Managers and Head Coaches of the League's 13 member clubs.
