
Nash and Gajic honored by NLL

DENVER - Colorado Mammoth goaltender Gee Nash has been named the National Lacrosse League's player of the month for February, and Mammoth transition player Nenad Gajic earned rookie of the month honors.
The two players helped lead the Mammoth to a 4-0 record in February, improving the club's overall record to an NLL-best 9-1.
Nash played all four games for the Mammoth in February, recording 152 saves and allowing just 33 goals for an 8.64 goals-against average and a .821 save percentage. The veteran goaltender also tallied two assists and collected 11 loose balls, earning four victories and improving his league-best record to 8-0.
Gajic scored four goals and added eight assists for 12 points in the four games. He scored one shorthanded goal, one game-winning goal and collected 29 loose balls. He currently leads all NLL rookies with 20 assists.
The monthly player awards are determined by a vote of the general managers and head coaches of the league's 13 member clubs.
