Andy Sertich Recalled To Bridgeport

Bakersfield, California - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that defenseman Andy Sertich has been recalled to the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

The Grizzlies are proud to be the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's New York Islanders and their AHL affiliate in Bridgeport.

Sertich departs Utah with 10 goals and 22 assists for 32 points in 55 games. He is ninth among ECHL defensemen in scoring and leads ECHL blueliners with 157 shots.

The third-year Utah player started the year in Bridgeport and played 28 games last year with the Sound Tigers tallying three goals and six assists.

The Grizzlies (21-20-6-9) currently have nine players on recall or loan to the AHL.

Utah returns to action Wednesday in Bakersfield. Face-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
