Salmon Kings' Gendur Reassigned To Victoria

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today forward Dan Gendur has been reassigned to Victoria by the Manitoba Moose.

The Victoria, BC native was recalled for the third time this season to Manitoba on February 27th. In his 10 games with Manitoba this year he has one goal and two minutes in penalties.

In 43 games with Victoria he has collected 33 points (9g-24a) and 79 minutes in penalties.

Gendur began this season and his professional career with the Moose participating in four games after signing a 3-year entry level contract with the Vancouver Canucks on October 1st.

Prior to turning professional the 21-year-old played in the WHL for the previous four seasons with both the Everett Silvertips and the Prince George Cougars. Last season in 60 games he compiled 84 points (29g-55a) with Everett.

The 5-11, 190lb right winger was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks with their seventh round choice, 206th overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

The Salmon Kings continue their 11-game road trip tomorrow when they travel to Idaho to take on the Steelheads in Boise. Game time is 6:10 p.m. MST.
