Andino, Pascucci, Seabol Secure Honors

The trio of Albuquerque Isotopes named to the Pacific Coast League's mid-season All-Star team has also garnered All-PCL Team honors with Robert Andino, Valentino Pascucci and Scott Seabol each earning the prestigious accolades. Andino was declared All-PCL shortstop, while Pascucci and Seabol were named All-PCL Designated Hitter and third baseman, respectively. The All-PCL Team is a roster of the League's very best at every position and is determined by vote of Pacific Coast League field managers and media. With three representatives on the 12-man squad, the Isotopes have more players included on the team than any other Coast League squad.

In addition to playing spectacular shortstop for the second straight year, Andino dazzled with the bat as well in 2007, entering Monday's play with a career-high 13 homers. The Miami, Florida native also has racked up a .274 batting average with 24 doubles, 46 RBI and team-highs in runs scored with 84 and a League-best 12 triples.

For Pascucci, 2007 has been a record-setting season, as the slugger enters today's play holding the franchise single-season mark for homers with a PCL-leading 34. Pascucci has also knocked in 97 runs this year and scored 91 while posting a .289 batting average.

Records have also fallen for Seabol, who enters Monday's game with a career-high 102 RBI, becoming the first Isotope ever to drive in more than 100 runs in a season. The popular third baseman also has 31 homers, 62 extra-base hits, and 95 runs scored, ranking among the League's top five in each category, while also batting .303.

Since the team's inception in 2003, the 'Topes have had one player named to the All-PCL Team, with Robert Stratton taking home the All-PCL outfield honor in 2003.

After four games at division-rival Round Rock, the first-place Isotopes return home this Friday for what promises to be the most dramatic four-game series in team history, with a playoff berth literally up for grabs. In addition to pennant-fever, the four-game series will also include two Fan Appreciation Fireworks shows and a visit by Rockin' Ray and his Amazing Skyy Dogs.
