OMAHA, NE - While the Omaha Royals won't play their season finale until Labor Day at Iowa, the team wrapped up the home portion of its 2007 schedule Sunday at Rosenblatt Stadium. Sunday's crowd of 9,090 pushed the Royals final attendance figure to 326,627.

The club drew an average of 4,803 fans for its 68 openings this season. 2007 marked the 20th consecutive season that the Royals have drawn over 300,000 fans to Rosenblatt, continuing the streak that began in 1988. This season's total attendance figure and average per opening were both the team's highest since 2002, when 344,718 fans came through the Rosenblatt turnstiles over 71 openings, an average of 4,855 fans per opening.

The Royals treated their fans to dramatic victories in their final two home games, both culminating in walk-off home runs. In the nightcap of Saturday's doubleheader, second baseman Fernando Cortez led off the bottom of the 10th with his fourth homer of the season, giving the Royals a 4-3 win. In Sunday's home finale, third baseman Richard Lewis smacked his fifth round-tripper of the year leading off the bottom of the 13th, lifting Omaha to a 2-1 triumph.

The Royals won their last four games at home, finishing with a 45-27 (.625) record at Rosenblatt. It was the best home record for the club since 1999, when Omaha went 47-24 (.662) at the 'Blatt during an 81-60 season.
