Round Rock Express News Release
ROUND ROCK - Chad Reineke started it. Tim Raines, Jr. ended it.
After Reineke worked eight scoreless innings, Raines helped the Express snap a four-game losing streak with his 11th home run of the season, a monster blast onto the right field berm that propelled Round Rock to a 1-0 win over Albuquerque.
The Express has won two of its last 12 games and has played three straight extra-innings games.
Reineke worked a season-high eight innings, scattering four hits and fanning five. The right-hander located 72 of his 107 pitches for strikes and did not walk a batter for the first time since July 8, a span of 10 appearances.
Albuquerque's Nic Ungs was just a solid, fanning five against three hits over eight innings. Round Rock didn't threaten until the ninth when reliever Harvey Garcia put runners on the corners before working out of the frame.
