
Anaheim Prospect Agrees to Contract Terms

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Defenseman Shane O'Brien agreed to terms with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on a three-year entry level contract and reported to the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks of the American Hockey League on Wednesday.
O'Brien, Anaheim's eighth-round pick in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, had 16 goals and 26 assists with 208 penalty minutes in 62 games between Kingston and St. Michael's of the Ontario Hockey League last season.
The AHL Ducks begin their seventh AHL season Saturday at 7:35 p.m. vs. the Toronto Roadrunners at Cincinnati Gardens.
