Cleveland Barons News Release
CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Barons finalized their opening day roster for the 2003-04 season today. The Cleveland Barons announced today that they were assigned forward Todd Harvey from San Jose and reassigned goaltender Nolan Schaefer to Fresno of the ECHL. The Hamilton, Ontario native spent the last three and a half seasons with the Sharks. In that time, the centerman appeared in 254 games with San Jose, scoring 30 goals and 44 assists.
Harvey rounds out the impressive group of forwards for the Barons. He will be joined by Brad Boyes, Pat Rissmiller, Grant Stevenson, Marcel Goc, and Craig Valette at the center position. At right wing, the Barons will be paced by returning veteran Tavis Hansen, Niko Dimitrakos, Miroslav Zalesak, Jon DiSalvatore, and Willie Levesque. Levesque will miss opening night due to injury. At left wing, the Barons will feature Lyn Loyns, Yuri Moscevsky, Ryane Clowe, and Tomas Plihal.
