Anaheim Ducks Announce Roster Move

SAN DIEGO - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned goaltender Jhonas Enroth to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Enroth, 28 (6/25/88), has posted a 50-69-16 record with seven shutouts, a 2.84 goals-against average (GAA) and .909 save percentage (SV%) in 153 career NHL games with Toronto, Los Angeles, Dallas and Buffalo. Acquired from Toronto in exchange for a seventh-round selection in the 2018 NHL Draft on Jan. 10, 2017, Enroth owns a 10-2-0 record with two shutouts, a 1.42 GAA and .944 SV% in 12 games with San Diego this season. He returns to the Gulls leading all AHL goaltenders in GAA and ranking second in SV% (min. 15 starts). He was named the AHL's Goaltender of the Month for January after posting a 6-0-0 record with a 1.17 GAA and .957 SV% in six appearances.

Selected by Buffalo in the second round (46th overall) of the 2006 NHL Draft, the Stockholm, Sweden native began the season with the Maple Leafs, making four starts in six appearances. Enroth also appeared in three games with the Toronto Marlies (AHL), going 2-1-0 with a .904 SV%.
