CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors (26-21-5-1) host the Stockton Heat (24-23-4-1) on Dignity Health Home Ice at Rabobank Arena at 6 p.m. Bakersfield leads Stockton by five points for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Pacific Division. The Condors have won their last four on home ice.

PROMOTION: The first 2,000 fans 5 & older will receive a Condors Team Card Set; the team will wear their Outdoor Classic specialty jerseys with a post-game auction to benefit the Condors Community Foundation and local charities; PLUS, win one of five that will be given away; after the game Season Ticket Members are invited to the Club Room for a Meet the Team Party with the players; Presented by 23 ABC and La Campesina 92.5 FM

TONIGHT

The Bakersfield Condors host the Stockton Heat in the second game of a back-to-back at home. In the season series, the Condors have won five of the last six contests and are 4-1-0 at home against Stockton. Over the past two seasons, the Condors are 14-7-1 overall against the Heat and are 8-2-1 at home.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Bakersfield never trailed and earned a 3-2 overtime victory last night against Ontario. LW Scott Allen and C Josh Currie scored in regulation before LW Joey LaLeggia provided the overtime heroics just over a minute into overtime. G Jonas Gustavsson earned the victory in net with 26 saves including a crucial stop in overtime just before the LaLeggia game-winner.

Stockton was idle last night after a 4-0 shutout victory over the Condors on Wednesday at home. G David Rittich picked up the win in that game stopping all 30 shots that he faced.

PLAYOFF PICTURE

Bakersfield cushioned their lead in the playoff race with last night's win. The Condors sit five points up on Stockton and six points up on the Tucson Roadrunners with 15 games remaining. Stockton has a game in hand on Bakersfield which will be played tomorrow against Grand Rapids.

FOUR STRAIGHT AT HOME

The Condors won their fourth straight on home ice last night. On the season, the Condors are an impressive 17-8-2-0 at home.

CONDORS NOTES

With last night's victory, the Condors are now 5-5 in overtime this season... LW Joey LaLeggia has scored two overtime game-winners this season... LW Justin Fontaine, who had an assists last night, now has 1g-4a in four games since being acquired by Edmonton at the NHL trade deadline.

HEAT NOTES

Stockton is 7-16-2-0 away from Stockton Arena... G David Rittich is third in save percentage at .930% and is second in shutouts with five this season including two against the Condors... C Mark Jankowski is fourth in rookie scoring with 41 points and leads all rookies with 22 goals.
