SYRACUSE, NY - Charles Hudon's breakaway overtime goal gave the St. John's IceCaps a 3-2 win over the Syracuse Crunch Saturday night at the Onondaga County War Memorial Arena in Syracuse, New York.

After the Crunch took an early first period lead, Chris Terry tied things up for the IceCaps with his team-leading 23rd goal. Jacob de la Rose's second-period shorthanded marker staked St. John's to a 2-1 lead. The Crunch tied the game early in third period to set the stage for Hudon's overtime exploits.

IceCaps netminder Yann Danis was solid between the pipes, kicking out 31 shots.
