
Canucks Recall Forward Joseph Labate from the Comets

CANUCKS RECALL FORWARD JOSEPH LABATE FROM THE COMETS
Utica, NY - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has recalled forward Joseph LaBate from the Utica Comets.
LaBate, 23, has appeared in five games with the Canucks and in 29 games for Utica this season, recording 13 points (4-9-13) and 63 penalty minutes.
A native of Burnsville, Minnesota, LaBate was drafted by Vancouver in the fourth round, 101st overall, in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
The Comets visit the Lehigh Valley Phantoms tonight at 7:05 p.m. The game will be broadcasted live from the PPL Center on 94.9 KROCK and viewed on AHL Live.
