Amerks Reassign Micflikier To Florida Everblades

(Rochester, November 22)... Rochester Americans General Manager Jody Gage announced today that the Amerks have reassigned left wing Jacob Micflikier to the Florida Everblades of the ECHL. Micflikier, 24, has appeared in 13 games with the Amerks this season, registering six points (1+5) and four penalty minutes (PIM). A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Micflikier started the 2008-09 season with the Everblades, collecting a pair of assists in two games. In 30 American Hockey League contests between Springfield and Rochester, the 5-foot-8, 180-pound forward has notched 15 points (5+10) and eight PIM.

Rochester travels to Toronto on Wednesday, November 26th in search for its first win against the Marlies this season at Ricoh Coliseum. The 11:30 a.m. day-game matinee will be the third of eight scheduled meetings between the North Division rivals and will be broadcast tape-delayed on SportsRadio 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and AHL Live.

The Amerks are home again on Friday, November 28th to host the Lake Erie Monsters for a 7:35 p.m. faceoff at The Blue Cross Arena. The first of six meetings will be carried live on SportsRadio 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and AHL Live.
