Despite being recalled by the Buffalo Sabres, left wing Clarke MacArthur leads the Amerks with 18 points (8+10). His eight goals and 10 assists are good enough for third and 16th in the league, respectively. His 18 points are also fifth best in the league. Chicago tied the game with a power-play goal with only 43 seconds left in the game by Steve Martins. The Wolves were 1-for-10 on the power play. The Amerks only had five power play opportunities and were 0-for-5.

David Shantz made 39 saves in the game to earn first star honors, while Chicago's Robert Gherson made 24 saves in his first start of the year.

Prior to hosting the Wolves on Sunday, Rochester spent back-to-back nights on the road. The Amerks earned a 5-4 shootout win over the defending Calder Cup champion Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday night at Copps Coliseum.

Rochester scored four straight goals and rallied from a three-goal deficit in the third period, scoring three goals within three minutes to force overtime. Marc-Andre Gragnani, Dylan Hunter, Stefan Meyer and Marek Zagrapan each provided the scoring for the Amerks. After the scoreless extra frame, Mark Mancari and Meyer netted the only two goals in the shootout to give Rochester the win.

The following night, the Amerks were blanked by the Syracuse Crunch, 4-0, at the War Memorial at Oncenter.

Rochester Americans General Manager Jody Gage announced today that the Florida Panthers have recalled Glass. The recall is Glass's first to the National Hockey League. The University of Dartmouth graduate has registered four points (2+2) and 29 penalty minutes in 16 appearances with Rochester.
