Anchorage, Alaska - The Allen Americans jumped out to a 4-0 lead and never looked back, cruising to a 6-2 victory on Friday night at Sullivan Arena, to even the season series at 1-1.

Chris Crane scored his first professional hat trick, netting his 14th, 15th and 16th goals of the season to lead the Allen charge, and earn the number one star of the game. Crane also had the game winner for Allen. Greger Hanson had a four-point game for the Americans with a goal and three assists, while Spencer Asuchak had a goal and two helpers. Chad Costello chipped in with three assists as well as the Americans ended their three game road skid.

"I was really happy for Chris Crane," said Allen Americans Head Coach Steve Martinson. "It was nice he could score a hat trick with his parents in the building. "I was also pleased with what I saw from our new defenseman Reggie Traccitto who looked very solid in his first game with us."

Americans Center Casey Pierro-Zabotel, played in his 400th professional game Friday night, scoring a power play goal in the first period for his 11th goal of the year. Joel Rumpel rebounded nicely after getting pulled on Wednesday night, stopping 31 of 33 Aces shots to pick up his 18th win of the season.

The Americans went 3 for 4 on the power play while the Aces went 0 for 5. Alaska outshot the Americans 33-20 for the game. The same two teams will square off tomorrow night at 10:15 pm CST.
