Carolina Mudcats News Release

Zebulon, NC --- The Cincinnati Reds have made a pair of roster moves impacting their Double-A affiliate Carolina Mudcats prior to tonight's middle game of Carolina's series with Tennessee.

1B Yonder Alonso has been activated from the disabled list and returned to Carolina from his injury rehab assignment at Sarasota. Alonso, the seventh overall pick in the 2008 draft, broke his hamate bone on a swing at Tennessee on June 18th.

To make room for Alonso on the roster, IF Jake Kahaulelio has been places on the seven-day disabled list.

The Mudcats' roster remains at the Southern League limit of 24.
