Pearl, MS - The Mississippi Braves return to Trustmark Park for the final time during the 2009 regular season on Friday, August 28th. The M-Braves take on the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx in a five-game series to close out the Braves' fifth regular season home schedule.
The homestand starts on Friday, August 28th with Dunkin' Donuts Promotional Night. The Braves famous Friday Night Fireworks Extravaganza, REGGY, and the Phillip Wellman bobblehead are all compliments of Dunkin' Donuts. In addition to the always spectacular post game fireworks show, Friday, August 28th will be Phillip Wellman Bobblehead Night and the hilarious REGGY will make an appearance at Trustmark Park. After the game, the bobblehead, REGGY and the fireworks, Dunkin' Donuts will have an exit sampling of some of their delicious offerings.
Saturday, August 29th will be Sam's Club Promotional Night as the Braves celebrate the grand opening of our newest neighbor. It will also be Mayberry Night when the Mayberry Deputy, Opie, Floyd, Goober and Otis look-a-likes will be in attendance. In addition, fans can bid on fabulous Braves memorabilia at the Saturday night Silent Auction.
Children 14 and under can run the bases at Trustmark Park thanks to the Comcast Cable Kids Run the Bases promo on Sunday, August 30th. Sunday will also be the final FamilyFest when a family of four can get four dugout level seats, four hot dogs or hamburgers, four 16 oz. soft drinks, four bags of peanuts or cracker jacks, four M-Braves caps, two game programs and Fun Zone wristbands for the children for only $52 (regular price: $153). Sunday's game starts at 1:05.
The Braves cap the August schedule on Dunkin' Donuts Monday, August 31st. The final Monday of the season will feature Dollar Dog Monday, Military Monday, Church Bulletin Monday, Chevron Bonus Monday and the new Dunkin' Donuts Monday. Dollar Dog Monday is when all hot dogs, excluding foot longs, will be $1. It'll also be Military Monday when any member of any US Military Division can get field level seats for themselves and their families for only $2 each. It's also Church Bulletin Monday when families can get half-priced field level seats by presenting a church bulletin. Mondays are also Chevron Bonus Monday when tickets are buy-one-get-one-free upon presentation of a Chevron credit card.
On Dunkin' Donuts Monday, the first 500 customers to visit Dunkin' Donuts in Pearl the week of August 24th will receive two free tickets to the August 31st game. In addition, the next 1,500 customers to visit Dunkin' Donuts in Pearl the week of August 24th will receive two vouchers for $4 reserved seats or $2 berm seats for the August 31st game.
The final home game of the 2009 regular season will be Tuesday, September 1st at 7:05 against the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx. Fans can get two-for-one tickets thanks to KRAFT and the Tuesday Night Tickets Program. Fans can get buy-one-get-one tickets by redeeming one package wrapper of KRAFT Singles at the Trustmark Park ticket office with the KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets offer. In addition, with KRAFT Two for Tuesday, all seats, berm grass tickets, hot dogs, fountain drinks and popcorn will be two-for-one.
Tickets can be purchased in person at the Trustmark Park ticket office, the Mississippi Coliseum, Be-Bop Records in Jackson and Vicksburg, all Ticketmaster locations, online at www.mississippibraves.com or by phone at 601-932-8788 or 888-BRAVES4. Fans can also call Ticketmaster to place their orders at 601-355-5252. There will be a $5 fee for all phone orders through the Braves ticket office.
