Mississippi Braves News Release
Pearl, MS - The Atlanta Braves made a pair of moves Monday afternoon that affect the Mississippi Braves roster. IF Freddie Freeman was placed on the disabled list and IF Ernesto Mejia was promoted to AA Mississippi from High-A Myrtle Beach.
Freeman hit .248 with eight doubles, two homers and 24 RBI through 41 games in Mississippi. Mejia hit .293 with seven doubles and three homers through 17 games with the Pelicans.
Mississippi's roster now has 24 active players with three players on the disabled list.
